This Little Glade

In the fall of 2025, I had the honor of participating in a duo show with artist Rhonda Luckey.

“Both artists focus on plants and see their work as a kind of collaboration with nature, both in terms of materials and imagery. Pantelis paints fluid images of entire plants from their roots to their leaf tips using sum ink, watercolor and plant dyes, while Luckey imprints leaves and flowers onto fabric and paper to combine with materials gathered from nature and traditional art materials from acrylics to hand-stitching.”

“The artists borrowed the show’s title from a poem called “This Little Glade, Remember” by Pattiann Rogers. Celebrating the intricate and varied beauty and nourishing spirit of the earth, the poem affirms their mutual love of nature and deep interest in the interconnections that allow life on earth to flourish.”
